Description
This forend accessory rail attaches to the forend of the Bergara HMR style stocks. Two variants are available. The light rail is lightened on the top side for the weight conscious hunters and competitors and matches the length of the forend. The heavy rail does not have lightening cuts and extends forward of the forend about 1.75" for more rail space and bipod "wheelbase".Installation requires drilling through the forend for the rear screw locations and either tapping threads or adding the t-nuts in the forend channel. This rail allows attaching accessories to the rifle, and the rifle to a tripod, with standard RRS/ ARCA Swiss 1.5" dovetail clamps.
